Coats

Children will need to bring a coat to school with them each day as we will aim to be outside for break come rain or shine.

PE 

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. The children should come to school in their PE kit on these days please and I would suggest an extra layer might be advisable, as we will be outside as much as possible.

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor Learning will take place on Monday afternoons this term. The children will need wellington boots at school each Monday please.

Homework

Homework will be linked to either English, Science, Topic or Maths. It will be set on a Thursday and will be due in on the following Monday.

Spellings

Our focus for spelling this term is on twelve of the Year 2 common exception words and the number words from zero to twenty. These words will  be available on Spelling Shed for the children to practise. The log in and passwords for spelling shed will be stuck in the front of your child's reading record book.

Reading

Reading books will come home daily, with the expectation that children read to an adult each night.
