Autumn 1
We created a timeline of the key events throughout history - from the start of the universe until our birth!
In ICT, we explored computer systems, but also how to be safe online. We created online safety rules.
During our orienteering PE unit, we worked together to improve our coordination, agility and stamina. We considered people with physical impairments and carefully co-ordinated our actions to roll a ball between our teams - blindfolded. We also worked together to get from one end of the playground to the other, with limited equipment!
In English, we wrote rhyming couplet autumn poetry. We also created a class autumn poem for the Harvest Festival, which we presented on the back of our colourful leaf prints.
We explored exchanging during addition and numbers to 10,000 and 100,000, by using and drawing counters in place value grids.
We also added, subtracted and solved problems with Roman Numerals up to 1,000!
