Look at these amazing Tudor houses that we have made.
We explored clay in our art lesson today. We used our hands as a tool to shape the clay and then used different objects to make marks in it.
In science we tested different objects to see if they could be bent, squashed, twisted or stretched. We then made play dough and had fun exploring our creativity by bending, squashing, twisting and stretching it.
Fact or Opinion?
The Great Fire of London started in 1666.
The Great Fire was the worst event in London's history.
We had to sort a collection of statements into those which were facts and those which were opinions.
In science we did an experiment to find out which material was the most waterproof. We discussed the meaning of 'fair test' and made predictions.

Counting in threes was our focus in maths today. We enjoyed making number lines on our tables to help us.
We had to create art with leaves in Forest School. Here is our favourite masterpiece!
We wrote questions to ask Vlad (a key character) about his thoughts and feelings at different points in our story. We then used the app Chatterpix to bring Vlad to life. It was great fun.
We discussed the meaning of the British Value democracy today before voting for our class reps.

We found out what actually happened during the Great Fire of London and sequenced the key events. We were amazed that there were only 6 recorded deaths.
We have started our torn paper collages in art. The first step was to create the background.
