Homework

To enhance Sycamore's learning, they will be given weekly homework (on a Friday and due in the following Friday) for the following areas:

  • Spellings via the website EdShed. (Please encourage your child to recap the year 3 and 4 statutory spellings list, and learn words from the year 5 statutory spellings list, both attached below.)

  • Times tables via the website Times Tables Rockstars. (Please encourage your child to recap times table facts up to 12 x 12.)

  • General homework (linked to Quest (Science, Geography, History, Art, DT) or other subjects) via your child's Google Classroom. 
  • Please continue to read with your child or encourage independent reading, and show this in their reading records. Their reading at home has been fantastic so far and the children have shown great enthusiasm for their books.
