Water Bottles

Children will need a named water bottle at school every day. 

Coats

Children will need to bring a coat to school with them each day as we aim to be outside for break come rain or shine.

PE 

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on these days please and I would suggest an extra layer might be advisable, as we will be outside as much as possible.

Outdoor Learning

Forest School will take place on alternate Monday afternoons. Children will need their wellies in school and a warm coat and gloves every other Monday. Wellies can stay in school for the duration of the term if it is easier.

Homework

Homework will be linked to either English, Science, Topic or Maths. It will be set on a Thursday and will be due in on the following Monday.

Spellings

Spellings will be given on a Monday and the children will have a week to practise the words both at school and at home before they are tested on them, on the following Monday. Children can  use Spelling Shed to practise their spellings - log-ins and passwords are at the front of their reading record books.

Reading

Reading books will come home daily, with the expectation that children read to an adult each night.
