Water Bottles

Children will need a named water bottle at school every day. 

Coats

Children will need to bring a coat to school with them each day as we aim to be outside for break come rain or shine.

PE 

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on these days please and I would suggest an extra layer might be advisable, as we will be outside as much as possible.

Outdoor Learning

Forest School will take place on alternate Monday afternoons. Children will need their wellies in school and a warm coat and gloves every other Monday. Wellies can stay in school for the duration of the term if it is easier.

Homework

Homework consists of reading, a weekly set of spellings linked to our spelling rule and a sheet of maths linked to in class learning. Reading books will come home daily, with the expectation that children read to an adult at least five times a week. Spellings and maths will come home on a Monday. Children will have a week to learn their spellings and complete the maths. Spelling words can be practised in the child's spelling book or on Spelling Shed and will be tested on a Monday morning. Once a term, homework linked to our wider curriculum will be sent home.
