This half term, we have been diving deeper into topics such as 'day & night', how Earth has developed and the creation of Earth, as well as time zones and the life cycle of a star. Here are some videos of the children recreating the Big Bang using balloons and glitter - the balloon representing the sudden explosion, the glitter representing the matter created from explosion!

Over the last few weeks, the children have been learning about rhyming couplet poetry! As a starter to every lesson, we have been building up a bank of rhyming words using different sounds. Sycamore Class have loved playing this game with their peers and trying to get as many obscure words to rhyme as possible.
