Welcome to the Ash Class page! Here you will find information, photographs and everything you need to know about the exciting things we get up to in year three.

A very warm welcome to year 3! 

                                           In year 3 you will find:

On a Monday afternoon the children will have French and Art with Mrs Pritchard and on Tuesday afternoon, PE with Mr Tostevin and music with Mrs Pritchard. 

The children will need to come into school in PE kit on a Tuesday and Thursday as these are our PE days. 

On Friday afternoon, we will be doing forest school, so it may be useful to have wellies/spare clothes on this day. 

In year three children will need to bring in their own snacks for morning break, a healthy snack such as fruit would be perfect. 

Spellings will be set on a Monday, a paper copy will be sent home and the spellings will be available to practise on Spelling Shed. TT Rockstars and Numbots will also be encouraged.

Homework will be set weekly on a Thursday and will be due in the following Thursday. It will be sent home in your child's homework folder. 

Reading Records will be checked on a Wednesday and house points given out for reading at home. A minimum of reading three times a week is expected. We use a system called Accelerated Reader in Key Stage Two, so the children will complete a quiz on the books they read at home.
