If your child is not going to be in school for any reason, please telephone the School Office on 01749 850375 to let us know, preferably by 9:30am. You can leave a message on the Office answerphone, prior to school hours, if need be. Alternatively, you can email us at uptonoffice@eastsomersetfederation.co.uk to let us know.
If we do not hear from you and are unable to contact you by phone to verify the reason for your child missing school, their absence will be recorded as unauthorised.
If your child arrives late or is collected early, we will require the adult who drops off/collects them to complete and sign a slip, explaining the reason. We therefore ask that if you drop your child off late, please come into the office, rather than dropping them in the car park.
We understand that there may be rare occasions when your child is unavoidably late or needs to be collected early due to unforeseen circumstances. On these occasions please make sure that you contact us to let us know.
Please see our Attendance Policy for more information.
