Week beginning Monday 6th July
Hello Year Two,
I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend.
This is the penultimate week of term, do you know what that means? It means that it is the last but one week before the Summer holiday. So we have just two weeks left of home schooling and two weeks left as Willow Class .
Thank you to those of you who have sent your stories through to me. They are most impressive and I can see that you have thought hard about your vocabulary choices and sentence openers. The snail really did go on some amazing adventures! This week's English is focussed on riddles and I am looking forward to solving the riddles that you write. In Maths, you are continuing with work on the measures and time and in Science, you will learn about water pollution.
Well done to all those of you who have been earning coins on TT Rockstars. Special congratulations to Noah K, Tilly and Jessica, who came first, second and third respectively. Noah and Jess are in the top three for the third week running; will they be beaten next week? A new challenge has been set, so get practising.
As always, you will find all this week's activities in the curriculum stars below.
Enjoy your learning,
