Week beginning 20.04.20
Dear Willow Class,
I hope that you are all well and staying safe at home. How was your Easter holiday? I thought of you all on Easter Sunday, and wondered how many of you had had an Easter egg hunt. I bet you have enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine. I wonder what else you have been up to? I have enjoyed my daily walk with Isla (which seems to be getting longer and longer!), have read a lot and have played some board games with my family. Cluedo is our favourite but I have only managed to win once.
School officially starts again on Monday but sadly none of us will be there, so we are back to remote learning. I have changed the format of our home learning page to hopefully make it easier to follow. As before, I will update the subjects on a weekly basis. Please do continue to send photographs of your work so that I can upload them to the website for everybody to see.
Something different for this term is that we are going to have a Willow Class Poetry Slam. I would like you all to choose a favourite poem. You will then learn that poem off by heart and will be videoed performing it. Your parents will then send the video clips to me to upload and we will all watch each other. There will be a winner for each age group (Year one, Year Two). Don't worry, you have plenty of time to learn the poem as I will not be judging them until the 18th May. Your first job is to choose the poem that you would like to perform.
As always, if you have any questions or would just like to email to say hello, my email is email@example.com.
Have fun and stay safe
