We had an amazing day at Carymoor Environmental Centre. We learned about what we might need to survive a natural disaster and built emergency shelters.
On our Natural Disaster day at Carymoor we learned skills that might help us survive, and had fun working as a team.
While we were at Carymoor we visited a replica of a shanty town called Kroo Bay in Sierra Leone. We thought about how people survive in homes like this and the challenges they might face.
In ICT we have been practising our typing skills.
In British Science Week, we designed lunar rovers. We presented our designs and then made refinements based on the feedback we received. We thought about what materials they would be made of, how they would be powered, how they would travel over different terrain and what jobs we needed them to do.
We had a great time celebrating World Book Day!
We recreated Road across the Wolds by David Hockney, looking at his use of colour and texture
In PE we have been playing games that make us think about strategy and tactics.
