Elm class Trip to Haynes Motor Museum
On Wednesday 25th April Elm class visited Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford.
On arrival the pupils were greeted by an education officer, David, who explained all about the introduction of transport and vehicles and when cars were first invented. He showed the children a variety of ‘‘olden day’’ cars and even allowed the children to dress up and pretend that they were children from many years ago!
The afternoon was spent completing an educational booklet and touring the museum for answers to the questions.
The children even got to spend some time playing in the wonderful museums playground!
Much fun was had and the children were incredibly well behaved, albeit exhausted at the end of an action packed day!
