Beech Class trip to Nothe Fort
On Friday 26th January, Beech class visited Nothe Fort, Weymouth's historic sea fort on the Jurassic coast.
Below are some quotes from the children expressing how much fun they had on the day!
George said: ‘my favourite part of the day was visiting the Anderson shelter because it actually felt like a real air raid shelter and I learnt about the coins and notes’.
Charlie said: ‘my trip to Nothe Forte was brilliant and a once in a lifetime trip and I would definitely visit again if able to. My favourite part was going shopping for rationed foods and being a shop keeper because it has inspired me to maybe be a shopkeeper when I grow up. It was really fun, the best trip so far at school!
