Acorn class visiting Mrs Bakers Lambs
On the 19th April Acorn class were invited by Mrs Baker, a local resident in Upton Noble village, to visit her flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep. The children were able to bottle feed the orphan lambs, named Apple, Cottontail and Trouble, and they were all very keen to listen to Mrs Baker’s informative talk on her wonderful flock.
The pupils were also able to collect frog spawn from Mrs Baker’s pond to take back to the class room. We will watch it grow and develop!
