W/C 20th April - FRACTIONS
In maths we normally follow the White Rose scheme of work, they have very helpfully created day by day lessons which will help the children keep on track with their maths.
I would recommend in each maths session your spend 10-15 minutes practising times tables - which ever ones you are currently working on. - 2/s/5s/10s or 3s/4s/8s.
Then have a go at the days FlashBack Four - a set of 4 questions to recap prior learning.
Then watch the White Rose video which talks you through that days learning, and have a go at the activities to the right - then the children can go through and mark their own answers, correcting any mistakes if needed.
The worksheets cover a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving type questions.
If you feel that you would like some extra maths to supplement this I will also put on the relevant links to support this.
We have not done a huge amount of work on fractions so please be patient, the children may need some help getting back into it - the videos on white rose are really helpful though.
Let me know how you get on!
