W.C 18th May
This week the sessions start by looking at word classes such as nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs - there is a powerpoint to recap these but the children should have some memory of what these words mean! There are some examples of character profiles to look at first, and then the children will need to have a go at creating their own. There is then a more free writing opportunity using a dictionary to include different word classes.
(There is a link to an online dictionary which may be helpful)
For the fourth and fifth session there is a poetry writing activity using similes and metaphors.
Any questions, please email me, and feel free to update me with any examples of work that you have been doing.
