Lots of fun on Outdoor Classroom Day. A walk around the village, making poppies and planting bulbs with our Acorn partners and writing poetry outdoors.

We had a great time on our trip to Somerset Rural Life Museum, where we became Geography Detectives for the day!
We have been learning about how search engines work and how we can evaluate the information we find on the World Wide Web.
In science we investigated thermal insulators by testing how quickly ice cubes melted in different wrappers.
In PE we have been learning orienteering skills like reading a map and following a route.
In maths we have been looking at different ways we can represent and partition numbers up to one million.
After looking at Vincent Van Gogh's painting of his bedroom, we made pictures of our own bedrooms, trying to create perspective.
We focused on the work of Anthony Browne in the first week of term, all based around his book Willy the Dreamer.
