UPTON NOBLE SCHOOL (PTA) HUNDRED CLUB
We have decided to run a hundred club at school this year. Owing to the present situation we as a PTA will be unable to stage our normal fund raising events. This will be a way of raising funds for the school without breaking any of the current government guidelines.
What is it?
A bit like a lottery, members of the PTA (parents/carers and school staff) purchase a number to be entered into a monthly draw. The aim of the club is to raise additional funds for Upton Noble School PTA
How much does it cost?
Members can buy up to three numbers which will be entered into monthly draws starting on 3rd November 2020. The cost of entering one number in all six draws will be £10.00, two numbers £20.00 and three numbers £30.00.
How much could I win?
50% of the lottery fund will be paid out as prize money. Therefore, if 100 tickets are purchased for the trial, the 1st prize will be £25, the 2nd prize £15 and the 3rd prize £10 each month, but it will depend on how many numbers are purchased during the sign up period.
When will the draws take place?
The first draw will take place on Tuesday 3rd November at school. From December 2020 to July 2021 the draws will take place on the 1st of each month or nearest school working day. We will have two draws in July 2021 to ensure 10 separate draws take place. At least three members of the school community will be there to make sure that things are fair.
How will I know if I have won?
You will be contacted directly using the details provided on the membership form. Winners will also be announced on the school Newsletter if you have given your consent. Prizes will be left with the school office for collection.
What happens to the other 50% of the money raised?
The remaining 50% of the fund will go to the PTA to contribute towards the school and any other school activities for which the school request contributions from the PTA.
